わずか90分で終わった攻撃

1941年12月7日の朝、日本軍はハワイにあるアメリカ海軍基地・真珠湾を奇襲空襲しました。当時、アメリカはまだ第二次世界大戦に公式には参戦していませんでした。たった90分ほどのこの攻撃が、アメリカを本格的な戦争へと踏み出させました。

攻撃は6隻の航空母艦から始まり、2回の攻撃で合計353機の航空機が真珠湾に向かいました。湾内にはアメリカの戦艦が8隻停泊しており、そのすべてが損傷し、そのうち4隻が沈没しました。
